Self-parking at the Domestic Terminal Multi-Storey car park is currently the only online product charged on a 24 hour basis, excluding special offers and promotions where calendar day pricing may apply (refer to offer Terms and Conditions). The minimum booking period is 24 hours. Daily charges are calculated per 24 hour period or part thereof between your booked entry date and time and your booked exit date and time.
All other online car park offerings are currently charged on a calendar day basis with a minimum booking period of 1 day. Daily charges are calculated per calendar day (defined as midnight to midnight) or part thereof between your booked entry date and time and your booked exit date and time.

Why am I allowed to drop off passengers on Departures level but not able to collect passengers in the same area?
If people try and pick-up in the drop off area it causes congestion and makes the entire process much more difficult and significantly inconveniences departing passengers.
The provision of a kerbside pick-up facility at the International Terminal (T1) has been investigated and is not feasible due to increasing passenger volumes and motor vehicle congestion. In peak periods there are 4,000 people an hour exiting the International Terminal and while only a proportion of these would use a pick-up facility the numbers involved mean that it is not practical.
However Sydney Airport provides drivers with 15 minutes free parking for arriving and departing passengers. The designated pick-up area is within the International Terminal (T1) Car Park. Anyone wanting to pick up arriving passengers at the International Terminal (T1) Car Park must proceed to the Car Park and follow the yellow signs to the 15 minute pick-up area.

Can I stop in a bus zone if there are no buses waiting?

Please note that it is irrelevant how long your vehicle remains stationary in the area - simply stopping the vehicle in a bus zone constitutes an offence.
