COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

Sydney Airport considers community consultation to be vitally important.

The Preliminary Draft Master Plan (PDMP) will be on exhibition for public comment until Tuesday 16 December 2008.

Sydney Airport will undertake an extensive community consultation process with all key stakeholders including local government, Australian and NSW Government agencies, the aviation industry, business, tourism and community groups, as well as the broader Sydney public.

Sydney Airport will ensure that all comments made during the consultation process are carefully considered, and that any appropriate changes are made to the PDMP before it is submitted to the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure, Regional Development and Local Government for his consideration.

Copies of the PDMP and other related documents and information can be downloaded free of charge from this website. Alternatively, to purchase a copy of the PDMP for $25 (including GST and postage) click here. Otherwise send your details with a cheque or money order payable to 'Sydney Airport Corporation Limited' and post to: Sydney Airport Preliminary Draft Master Plan, Sydney Airport Corporation Limited, Locked Bag 5000, Sydney International Airport, NSW 2020.

Copies of the PDMP are also available for public inspection in a number of council chambers and public libraries in areas around the airport (see below for further details).

Regular Community Updates will be provided in local newspapers, and a series of Community Open Days are to be held in areas around the airport (see details below). These open days allow people to view the documents, and have any questions answered by Sydney Airport representatives.
